Reality's Hidden Dreams

This artwork was done at my previous school based on the topic "Hidden". In a short summary, I've chosen to create magical realism of two world colliding together as dreams and reality as two opposites. I was inspired by my favourite time of day (night) and my cultural Chinese background from the balance of the Yin and Yang. What lead me to bring myself to create my final piece was my thought process of the topic "Hidden":
Dreams are hidden. And dreams are like another world to us even though its inside our minds. But what if that was real in physical form but we can't see it in our reality world.

Therefore, I've chosen to work with nature as I find it to be very inspiring to me and also because its symbolizing growth as we grow up into different individuals with very different dreams. And dreams change. Having them back to back emphasizes on the importance of the balance as one can not exist without the other, and such opposites should have contrasting colours to each other.
